LIVE: Amity University Speech on Employeeship

We're now live at Amity University in Noida (just outside Delhi), India where Claus has just been introduced by the honourable Prof. (Dr.) Gurinder Singh, the Director General of Amity International Business School.

We'll be updating for the next two hours from the speech and will also upload the presentation later on this weekend for the students to download.

---
Working through very dodgy tech with full power cuts (twice) and constantly dropped internet connections.
---
Claus has gone through the European Culture Survey, examples including "Saturday evening" and "everything is just fine" stress relief. He's also presented the Business Excellence model with its two aspects of Professional and General Business Excellence before leading into Employeeship and its 11 factors.
---
Due to the power cuts, Claus is now running the presentation without slides and got a great cheer from the crowd when he said that "only speakers who don't know their topics need PowerPoint."
---
We will need to finish the live coverage here due to the lack of adequate power. Sorry for the inconvenience. We will ensure that we make slides available to you all shortly.

Last PPF Seminar Day in India

After a whistlestop tour of India, Claus is now doing his last full day programme at the ITC Royal Gardenia hotel in Bangalore. The staff at the hotel have been exceptional and the ballroom is the best out of the 3 venues for open seminars so far. We also enjoyed a great experience in Mumbai yesterday. After the end of the Putting People First seminar today we've got a long domestic flight back to Delhi and a 2 hour presentation to students and faculty at Amity University tomorrow, where the topic will be Employeeship.

We would like to thank our hosts at Inspire One for organising the visit and laying on the seminars. They have taken very well care of all of us and Neeta and Deepak have been great company while we've been travelling round India. A big thanks from us to you and your staff in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore.

TV Coverage of Crisis Seminar in Århus, Denmark on March 17th

There was a short segment covering the first of Claus's recent seminars in Denmark about avoiding the dangers and seizing the opportunities of the current financial crisis. If you're Danish, you might want to have a quick look (less than 2 minutes). They also interview staff at ProShop Europe, one of the Danish companies which is doing well, and the focus is very much on ensuring that staff receive clear communication about where they are going and how to get there - a key ingredient in the Employeeship philosophy.

See the video clip here.

The slides from the two seminars are also available in this post (in Danish).

Crisis seminar slides from Denmark

Claus did two seminars in Denmark last week on the crisis and how to come out of it among the winners. For the participants, they will be able to refresh their memory by seeing the presentation below (in Danish).

If you are interested in getting Claus to come and speak at either an in-house event (you can also invite clients and suppliers because it's a valuable message) or have him do a keynote at a conference, please contact Lis Touborg on +45 48 22 51 00 or
send her an email.

Congratulations to Fatih Terim and Turkey

I've spent the evening watching Turkey beat the Czech Republic at UEFA Euro 2008 and just wanted to congratulate the Turkish coach Fatih Terim, whom I had the pleasure of speaking with when we were the two keynote speakers at a conference in Istanbul some years ago. Both of us were talking about winning teams and how it requires everybody in an organisation to pull in the same direction and achieve results. He spoke about it from a sports point of view and I presented my Employeeship concept, which has many football references.

It was an enthralling match and even 3 minutes from the end it seemed like the Turks were out of it until they somehow managed to score two late goals (although one was more than a little fortuitous). I guess that it's true that the game isn't over until the whistle has been blown - and in the same way you have to perform at your best at all times if your company is going to succeed.

Congratulations! I'm sure Istanbul will be a fun place to be tonight when the Turks will be celebrating as only they can.
